The Ministry of Industries reported today that the "Industry Recovery Foster Programme" has successfully extended support to 16,476 businesses affected by the recent environmental disaster. The program provided technical assistance, raw material subsidies, and machinery repair grants.
Industrial zones in the Western and Southern provinces were the primary beneficiaries. "Speed was of the essence. We managed to get 80% of these factories back online within two weeks," said the Secretary to the Ministry. The program is now entering its second phase, focusing on long-term disaster resilience for industrial parks.
